is a self-contained, battery-operated device that uses sound waves to measure liquid or solid levels. It provides fast and accurate measurements in high measurement areas without requiring any hole for water level meters. Ultrasonic level meters are lightweight, compact, versatile, and easy to operate. The process is unaffected, and there is minimal accuracy loss even in challenging conditions.
The KATflow clamp-on flow meters operate using the transit-time method. This method is based on the principle that sound waves travel faster with the flow of the fluid than against it. The difference in transit time is directly proportional to the fluid flow rate and, consequently, the volumetric flow rate. The ultrasonic transducers (sensors) of the flow meter are mounted on the outside surface of the pipe and are used to generate and receive the pulses.

DMTFC Ultrasonic Flowmeter
The DMTF Series Insertion Transit Time Ultrasonic Flowmeter provides robust capabilities for accurate liquid flow measurement from the outside of a pipe. This ultrasonic transmission/reception, digital signal processing, and transit time measurement utilize state-of-the-art technologies. Specialized signal quality monitoring and self-adaptive technologies ensure the system optimally adjusts to different pipe materials automatically. Due to the hot-mounted insertion transducers, there are no ultrasonic coupling and connection issues; even though the transducers are placed on the pipe wall, they do not create any disturbance or pressure drop in the flow, making them non-intrusive. The insertion (wet) type offers advantages in long-term stability and better accuracy.
