The AQUAPHON® system is an excellent assistant that detects, records, and visually presents the frequency spectrum and intensity of vibrations caused by water leaks. This system makes the vibrations from leaks audible to the human ear and can also record ground-based noises, providing an effective solution for accurately identifying the source of a water leak.
Water leak pre-detection
The TM 200 contact microphone is placed on the pipe contact point using the connected TS 200 carrying rod, and the sound intensity is evaluated. By determining and comparing these values, it is possible to identify the section of the pipeline where the leak is located.

Thanks to individually adjustable hearing protection, signals in the headphones are softened or completely cut off when sudden high noise, such as passing vehicles or the listening rod slipping off the valve, occurs. When the noise level decreases, the hearing protection is automatically disabled again.
