CIPS (Close Interval Potential Survey)
Yer altı boru hatlarının katodik koruma seviyesini değerlendirmek için kullanılan bir yöntemdir. Boru hattı boyunca belirli aralıklarla yapılan potansiyel ölçümleri sayesinde, korozyon riski taşıyan bölgeler erken tespit edilebilir.
DCVG (Direct Current Voltage Gradient) ise boru hattı kaplamasındaki hasarları ve kaplama bütünlüğünü değerlendirmek için kullanılır. Doğru akım voltaj farklarını ölçerek, kaplamadaki delik veya çatlak gibi kusurların yerini belirlemeye yardımcı olur.
Bu iki yöntem birlikte kullanıldığında, hem korozyon koruma seviyesi hem de kaplama durumu hakkında kapsamlı veri sağlar ve boru hattı bütünlüğünün korunmasına katkıda bulunur
