Early Detection of Water Loss

Leaks in network pipelines cause significant water loss. With SePem®, you can reliably detect existing leaks using data loggers and quickly identify any leaks that occur after repairs through systematic monitoring of the network. SePem® is much faster than traditional methods.

Systematic Leak Detection – Water Leak Detection

The SePem® system includes the SePem® 01 Master receiver and numerous data loggers. The SePem® 01 Master receiver can control up to 400 data loggers. SePem® 100 is preferred for mobile use, while SePem® 150 is designed for permanent installation. They magnetically attach to valve rod extensions, hydrants, or other connections in the pipeline network. The integrated microphone in the data logger converts structural noise in the line into an audio signal. This method yields better results when applied during low consumption times. Listening between 2:00 and 4:00 AM is more effective when there is minimal ambient noise. In a leak-free pipeline, the noise level measured during this time is almost zero. If there is a leak in the pipeline, the noise loggers will record higher values, indicating the presence of a leak.

Data Loggers for Mobile Use

SePem® 100 data loggers with integrated antennas are suitable for mobile use in city networks. They are placed on connection points in a specific network section and record sound levels over a programmable period. After recording, the loggers are collected, and the measurement data is transmitted to the SePem® 01 Master via radio frequencies. Clearly high measurement values indicating a leak are immediately signaled with an audible alert. This provides a reliable way to detect existing leaks. The loggers are then sequentially placed in other sections of the network until the entire network is checked.

SePem® 150: Water Leak Detection

Permanent Monitoring for Security

SePem® 150 data loggers are designed for permanent monitoring of water networks. They have an external antenna and listen to sound levels over a programmable period. The data values sent by the noise loggers to the SePem® 01 Master are periodically (e.g., daily or weekly) checked and compared.

Reliable and Robust Technology

The data loggers have an IP68 protection class. The casing is made of stainless steel and a specialized, tested plastic used in the casings of sewage pumps. This makes SePem® 100 and SePem® 150 completely waterproof and dustproof, resistant to corrosion and other stresses, and suitable for use in all environments.

With durable battery life, SePem® 100 and SePem® 150 operate reliably for many years.

Reliable and Efficient

SePem® 100 and SePem® 150 data loggers are equipped with highly sensitive piezo microphones optimized for leak detection and capable of picking up sounds from very long distances

Data is easily readable via bidirectional radio. For permanently installed SePem® 150 loggers, you do not need to open covers. You can collect data by simply passing by the device without getting out of your vehicle

In addition to noise level, transmitted data includes the frequency and quality of the noise. The transmitted values are clearly displayed on the SePem® 01 Master screen. There are additional options to filter out noise sources such as rain, traffic, electrical lines, etc., to ensure accurate measurements.

Easy to use

The online measurement function allows you to view current measurements in real-time on the SePem® 01 Master screen. This function helps you decide whether daytime measurements can be taken on-site before installation. The real-time data obtained with the online measurement function allows you to verify previous on-site listening.

The SePem® 01 Master is user-friendly, with a Turkish menu that makes it easy for even inexperienced users to operate.

SePem® Software for Easy Evaluation

SePem® software is a suitable tool for evaluating data. Data from SePem® noise loggers is transferred from the SePem® 01 Master to a PC via USB. If the computer is connected to the internet, the loggers can be dragged and dropped onto a map. All recorded measurements are then assigned to this measurement point.

The software has many functions for professionally displaying both mobile and stationary requirements. In the absence of an internet connection, measurement data is displayed in a table format in the Explorer view.

SePem® Master Communicator for Data Backup and Visualization

The SePem® Master Software is a free program that allows you to view data managed on the SePem® 01 Master directly on a computer. Operational data is transmitted directly and saved to the database. You can directly access and manage the measurements of individual SePem® noise loggers in the logger lists.
