MT200 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge
The MT200 model is a digital ultrasonic thickness gauge. Utilizing ultrasonic principles, this instrument can measure the thickness of various materials, including metals, plastics, ceramics, glass, and other good ultrasonic conductors. It can also measure the velocity of different materials. Compared to traditional measurement methods, the ultrasonic thickness gauge offers the advantage of performing measurements with access from only one side of the workpiece. Its unique non-destructive testing capabilities make it an ideal solution for measuring the thickness of closed pipes, containers, and more. It is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, and aerospace to monitor corrosion and thinning in pipes and pressure vessels. Additionally, it can be used for precise measurement of sheet metal and machined parts.
