- The Dynaprobe series level meter:
is a self-contained, battery-operated device that uses sound waves to measure liquid or solid levels. It provides fast and accurate measurements in high measurement areas without requiring any hole for water level meters. Ultrasonic level meters are lightweight, compact, versatile, and easy to operate. The process is unaffected, and there is minimal accuracy loss even in challenging conditions.
Technological Principle:
The level meter consists of an integrated ultrasonic wave sensor and electronic unit. The sensor is mounted on the top of the container, and under the control of the electronic unit, it emits ultrasonic pulses towards the measured object. The sound waves are reflected by the object's surface, and the reflected waves are received and converted into an electrical signal. The time taken for the ultrasonic waves to return is directly proportional to the distance. The electronic unit measures the time and calculates the distance based on the known speed of sound, then determines the object's position.
Ultrasonic waves are affected by gas temperature, so to ensure measurement accuracy, the sensor adjusts the sound speed according to the gas temperature when necessary. The sensor emits ultrasonic pulses, and the reflected waves are measured. The sensor has a short-range blind spot. If the distance to the object is less than the minimum range, the instrument may not measure accurately. If needed, the level meter can be recalibrated or adjusted.
How to Choose an Ultrasonic Level Measurement Device:
- Measurement Range:
- Choose the model number based on the actual range.
- If the medium is highly variable, choose a model with a larger range.
- Solid level ranges are generally one and a half to two times that of liquids.
DC24V Power Supply:
- For a two-wire system, the current power supply should be at least 30 mA.
- For a three-wire system, the current power supply should be at least 60 mA.
- For a four-wire system, the current power supply should be at least 80 mA.
220VAC Power Supply:
For a four-wire system only, the current power supply should be at least 50 mA. Dynaprobe Broşür

- Open Ponds:
- No detection panel is required.
- If the gear is high, the ultrasonic level meter should be protected from ice formation or freezing.
- Tank:
- When using a mounting flange, it should be kept warm.
- If no heating is required, measure with an extended probe inside the tank.
