Water Pipe Bursts in Bodrum, Turns into a War Zone!
In the Bodrum district of Muğla, a landslide measuring 1.5 meters deep and 2 meters wide occurred on the highway due to an explosion in the drinking water transmission line.
An explosion occurred in the drinking water transmission line in the direction of Turgutreis Street in the Gümbet Junction area of the Bodrum district of Muğla for an unknown reason.
The force of the explosion created a hole approximately 1.5 meters deep and two meters wide on the highway. Police and Muğla 911 Search and Rescue Teams arrived at the scene after passersby alerted them and took security measures in the area.
Some drivers, unaware of the collapse, narrowly avoided accidents. Municipal workers and heavy equipment began cleaning and repairing the highway.
Speaking to reporters, resident Vedat Çali said they heard a loud noise as a result of the explosion.
