A very simple but effective method of manure storage is an open pit cov- ered with foil. The reservoir is simple to make, in which the excavated soil is used as embankment. For the lining of the reservoir we offer MSE lining foil 850, fitting the current European building guidelines for slurry lagoons.
Our reservoir linings are also used in rectangular double membrane storage structures. Gas recovery system A series of floaters can be placed between the reservoir lining and the cover foil. Floaters are able to rest above the manure. A lineair network of flexible tubing ensures that the produced gas can be recovered to a central point for eventual further processing.
Bank protection The embankment of the reservoir is covered with MSE lining foil 900 protection. This is a fabric that is specially developed for the protection of foils and the lifetime of your foil basin. Closed reservoir The manure reservoir can be covered with MSE lining foil 850, a reinforced PVC foil. The slurry is then inserted between the sheets and creatng a completely closed system. This completely closed system meets the legal requirement to cover and is designed under KIWA-certificate K2455/93.
